  • Bring water to a boil - then add salt and rice wine vinegar or EVOO

  • Add your favorite pasta to the boiling water

  • Cook pasta per package instruction or for about 10 min. Al dente means it's almost done. It will continue to cook when added to the sauce.

  • Meanwhile, in your medium heated fry pan, add EVOO, chopped garlic and shallots. Season with Italian seasoning, salt & pepper.

  • Add sliced mushrooms and frozen peas.

  • Add any kind of a red sauce or white sauce.

  • Drain the pasta. Blend a little EVOO with the pasta to reduce sticking.

  • You can either plate the pasta and poor the sauce on top or dump the pasta into the pan and blend it all together

  • Add grated parmigiana cheese. Even a chunk of the cheese rind.

  • Plate it and add more grated parmigiana cheese.

Garlic toast: Toast bread and sprinkle with garlic powder.
