Get yourself some jumbo shrimp. Peeled and deveined with tail on. Fresh or frozen is fine. If you get frozen shrimp, thaw it in a strainer under cold water. Pat dry with paper towels
Heat up your favorite fry pan with EVOO.
Add the shrimp
Add a couple of spoons full of Calabrian pepper. Calabrian peppers come in a jar pre-chopped. (see picture below)
Add: parmesan cheese, Oregano, and lemon zest. Lemon zest is from lightly scrapping the outside of a lemon peel with a cheese grater.
Cook until the shrimp start to curl. Not too long – shrimp cooks fast. If you cook them too long they get tough.
Drizzle with fresh lemon or lemon juice.
